Minat - - - (Min ot')
"Wee' little people"

Colonial humans resembling Dawv that immigrated to normal gravity worlds and prospered, resulting in a great reduction of strength and physical build, but not an increase in height.

The Minat are a peace-loving and mischievous Dawv offshoot which developed on lush worlds colonized by the Dawv. They have overcome their concern for resources and lost much of the physical bulk and tensile strength of Dawv physiology. The resulting race is almost a polar opposite of their former selves, respecting community, freedom, individualism, and kindness more than the capitalistic Dawv. Minat excel at the arts and craftsmanship passed on from the Dawv, but express a greater interest in sharing these arts.

This peaceful and passive nature has actually led to the near extermination of the Minat by other races. They are the universal victim of the Universe. This propensity of victimization has led the Minat to desire the freedom of the Nomadic lifestyle. However, some sense-of-possessiveness remains from their forbearers instilling a strong sense of home. Minat will fight to the death in defense of their home with a ferocity that rivals the most hardened Dawv.
